“My biggest concern was making sure I was focusing on the right information,” Zemfira Bezgunov, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, explained when reflecting on some of the challenges she faced when preparing for her board exams. “There is so much material to review, and it can feel overwhelming trying to remember everything from NP school.” She knew she needed a clear and structured study plan, so when a friend recommended SMNP Reviews, she decided to give it a try.
“I was so impressed with how well SMNP Reviews prepared me for the actual exam. Even the wording and style of the questions felt familiar, which gave me so much confidence,” she shared.

The Strategy That Worked for Me
I dedicated three weeks to studying full-time. I started by completing the SMNP Reviews review course, and then I focused heavily on practice questions. I actually went through all the questions and started them over again! That was my study strategy. I found that repetition and reviewing the explanations really helped reinforce what I was learning.
I started feeling more confident as I worked through more practice questions and became familiar with how they were worded. The more I practiced, the more comfortable I felt applying what I had learned. By the time I took my exam, I felt much more prepared.
Why SMNP Reviews Stood Out from Other Board Prep Resources
What I really liked about SMNP Reviews was how the material was presented in a clear and easy-to-understand way. The practice questions were especially helpful because they taught me how to apply my knowledge rather than just memorize information. Going through the questions multiple times really helped me feel more comfortable with the exam format.
What impressed me most was how well Sarah Michelle prepared me for the actual exam. Even the wording and style of the questions felt familiar, which gave me so much confidence!
I was nervous going into my exam, but once I started answering questions, I remember thinking how familiar the wording and style felt. I honestly felt like Sarah Michelle had prepared me really well. And when I found out I passed, I was so relieved, happy, and proud! All that hard work had finally paid off!
Biggest Advice for NP Students
My advice to future NPs is to stay consistent, do lots of practice questions, and don’t overwhelm yourself with too many resources. I highly recommend SMNP Reviews because it truly made a difference in my preparation.
Most importantly, trust yourself and everything you’ve learned throughout NP school. Stay focused, believe in yourself, and don’t give up!
